For me its either the Guile stage in Street Fighter 2
or the "rock out" one in Dragon Ball Z: Budiki on the ps2

Whats yours?

Aeris' Theme from Final Fantasy VII,
The music from Sonic 2,
The GTA:Vice City soundtrack
and the music from the Dancing Stage/DDR series are among my faves,

However if you REALLY like your videogame music check out http://www.ocremix.org/ for some inspired remixes of videogame music or http://www.vgmusic.com/ for a lot of songs in MIDI format (good for free ringtones with the right phone).

As for wanting these songs as singles, well I think the Final fantasy Vocal themes (like "Eyes on me" from FF8 and "Kiss me goodbye" from FFXII) have a better chance at being released than the more instrumental ones, BUT I remeber at least 3 examples of singles being released in the UK charts...
Tetris by Dr Spin
Supermarioland by Mario and the Ambassadors of Funk
and Supersonic (which was 'inspired' by the Green Hill Zone theme from Sonic 1) by H.W.A (Hegehogs with attitudes). All of these were one hit wonders and only spemd a week in the charts before dropping like a stone. They were also questionable in quality!

Alien 3 on the SNES. Followed by Sonic 2 on the megadrive. I remember those well cos I played them loads. There are plenty of rockin tunes on old school/arcade classics, I just haven't played them quite as much.

i like the track on ffx where tidus is playing blitzball as he sees sin for the first time. i love final fantasy anyway and if you go on limewire and type it into a search option, you get loads of cool tunes.
