very good possibility, especially with Bush in office.

the u.s.a could easily liberate north korea as others have stated the koreans do not yet have ICBMS.capable of threatening the u.s. mainland.in the event of a north korean attack on the south the u.s./s korean forces would have no chance of halting the n korean army by conventional means.instead the order would be given to use a small number of tactical battlefield nuclear weapons.which would be of low yield and of an air burst variety.the airburst option means anything underneath the detonation would be vapourised.thus robbing the n koreans of there main advantage over the southern forces however if the n koreans still persisted in there attack.then the americans would target north korea with minuteman ICBM missiles insureing the end of the communist north.the only drwback would be the korean pennisula would be uninhabitable for about 250.000 years.

The United Nations tried to liberate all of Korea, but unfortunately they only got the job half done. South Korea is not perfect, but at least no one has to eat grass and leaves!

PLEASE IGNORE JAN T
North Korea has the capacity to wipe out 100,000 US soldiers on it's doorstep. It is one of the most militarised countries on earth and everyon knows it. They do have a missile that can reach the USA but it doesn't work properly yet
The US army is so overstretched that they wouldn't stand a chance in the region if N Korea got really pissed off.

Slim. North Korea has a nuclear weapons program. If they were a struggling third world country with oil and no weapons then we would definitely do it.

It would depend on how many thousands of billions George W could still squeeze out of the budget(anybody up for a tax increase?) Besides I believe Iran is still ranked a little higher on the Bush administrations' to do list. They actually have petrol.

more importantly, since WMD and ties to 911 were a ruse, all they have left to defend what they've done is liberation. Under that same pretext, why have we not liberated Darfur where the genocide is occuring as you read this.

Similar to the chance Spurs has of winning the premiership.
i.e. Not that big, but it wouldn't be surprising if they did.
