After 24 hours you read though your answers and pick the one that you like best. Then click choose as best answer. Then you can rate it and leave a comment. They are then sent and email saying their answer was choosen as best answer and they recieve 10 points.
Is this good enough for 10 points? :)

Ok, when you post a question and people give answers to it, you get a chance to choose the best answer after 24 hours (1 day). Just click your icon/nickname at any time and that will take you to your Q & A page where it lists your questions and answers, how old they are, how many answers etc. Just click the question you asked earlier and you will see buttons next to the answers saying choose as best answer.... 'nuff said?

You give 10 points to the "best answer" on any question when you choose it.

you dont actually give the points from your own, it is yahoo who gives and so you dont have to worry. this happens when you choose a best answer to the question you have asked. the person gets 10 points and you get 3 points back. you loose 5 points for asking one question ok

You can put a question up for a vote when there are two or more answers to your question. To put a question up for vote, click on Put to a Vote in the top-right module on the question page. You can only do this after the question has been up for at least 24 hours, and before the question expires in 7 days.
