Smoke pot. It surprises me that so few people bother. Pot will make you smile. It will smooth the sharp edges of your very soul. It ain't cheap, but it is not prohibitively expensive. The medical profession is currently quite tickled by the concept of Laughter medicine. Fascinating new research seems to be endorsing the ancient wisdom that laughter, happiness and a joyful heart are jolly good medicines!
Imagine the following scene: you are down to your last nerve, your muscles are cooked, your hair is clenched, you have lock-jaw, you can breathe in but you don’t feel much like breathing in, your heart beats only when it can find the time, and your head is auditioning for a part in High Anxiety! You tell your doctor that life’s got it in for you, that you and God have a personality clash, and that you feel the Universe quite simply doesn’t want to involve you in Its plans. Your doctor reaches for the pill pad, writes something, rips the sheet from the pad, and hands you a prescription ... for laughter!

Laughing gas.[Chemistry.] N2O (Nitrous oxide) a gas with no colour and a somewhat sweet taste, used as a general anaesthetic for small medical operations, specially taking teeth out- so named because its first effect is to give a person an impulse to outburst of laughing.
