Study for 45 minutes, then take a 15 minute break.
Repeat till you've studied everything.
That way, you will never reach you exhaustion point of 1 hour.

It is hard to sit still for longer than an hour! You're not alone.

It is not necessary to sit continuously even Ur brain needs rest that's why there are 30 mt or 45 mts classes not 2-3 hour continuous classes in schools n colleges ... brain can be concentrated at most for 30 minutes so study for 30 min take a mental break for 5 minutes then concentrate again ...never continuously without breaks or it will make u duller.

LOL i cant either !!! but somehow i always manage !! what i do:

at night before the test (BAD EXAMPLE do NOT start the night before !! but i just cant concentrate otherwise !! lol might have part time add ;) ) i start studying for whatever test it is. science is the easiest to study for! take the guide and TYPE UP THE ANSWERS to the practice questions or from your worksheet (you can take breaks: msn, etc) this way you are reading your information, and rephrasing it in a short way that YOU will understand!! =D lol. then you read hte answers a few times. Quiz ppl since you can remember what they got wrong etc when you do, and you will remember the right answers. truss! :). lol all day before the test STUDY STUDY STUDY!! i can tell you that you will remember what you cram in last minute ! lol. this might not work for you, and teachers would KILL me for saying this, but IT WORKS !!

in addition to taking short breaks every half hour my son uses a small tape recorder to tape the important parts of study as he reads and he takes them with him to use when he is waiting in places or just needs to change locations. This way he doesn't need to cary all his books with him when he wants to study in short bursts. Good luck!
