bhagvad means spoken by god bhagwan is god so short of that is bhag and vat in sanskrit means speach geeta it is very important to understand why it is given the name as geeta not any thing else as geeta is nothing but geet wich mean song so in short god speaks to make your like a song that is song have music song have art and also song have discpline also song has to take shape by a group of people wich work in harmony

yes it is a very good book .it reminded arjun to do his duty this book is full of good values for example do your duty do not wait for it,s fruit . work is worshaip duty is god (frist any one has asked such a good question!!)
