It can be nice but a lot cooler than summer so take your usual holiday clothes but also a cardigan or jumper for night time.

It's weird here in January. It's not likely to rain, but it can. The temps range from the 40's (if we have a cold front) to the 80's.

Depending on what you think of as cold, you should bring jeans and sweaters, maybe a light coat; but also prepare for warm weather- short sleeved shirts and shorts.

Our weather is all over the board in January, you just never know. It can be in the 50's (very cold to me) in the morning, and up to 80 by afternoon.

- You can buy shorts here year round, so that's not a problem. I'm not sure what a winter range means...

I went in December 1999 for the millenimum and on Jan 1st 2000 it was 71deg.

I have also been in Oct when Disneyworld shut Blizzard Beach as it was deemed too cold and it was 75. We went to MGM where all the employees were wearing big coats and mitts and we were in tee shirts and shorts!!! I explained we were from Manchester in England and it normally rains here!!!

usually it is warm during the day but I always take a cardigan or summer jacket for night time along with a pair of trousers as it can get a bit chilly.

Have a great time.

Here in Orlando, it gets a bit chilly at night and cool to warm in the day int he sun. Bring a few pairs of shorts, jeans and a nice jackets, not a wind breaker, but a jacket. Though always check the weather before hand. And the frost line is actually Gainesville/Leesburg.

Please come and stay for a few weeks. Kissimmee/St. Cloud is perfect for the toursit in you.

It is BEAUTIFUL in January. You may need a sweater and a pair of jeans, maybe a long sleeve, but that's probably it! Flops can be worn any time of year, a must have! I do have to say that I have lived in FL for 5 years, so what may be cold to me may be warm to someone from up north! My blood has officially been acclimatized to Florida weather!

Depends what part of Florida you are going. It can be both cool, and hot. I would bring fall type clothes. Bring some of each. If you are going to Orlando/Miami.. I would suggest shorts summer clothes. Anything in the panhandle; Pensacola, Tallahassee, Panama City.. probably jeans.. It can get cool, but.. still be warm. Bring whatever you feel comfortable in. Have fun. :)

I have gone the first week in Feb. but there are allot of determining factors. like, which part of FL. and which part of Jan. I was on the gulf side and water was very cold. but air temps were good. warm clothes and a pair or jeans and a sweater for night.

This can vary a lot. It depends on where you are thinking of going in Florida. FYI, the "frost line" is considered to be Sarasota.
