I have this argument with my husband on a regular basis. I like star trek he likes star wars.
My main thing is Star Trek is more realistic (if a sci fi show/movie can be) and just has better stories.

I am a huge Star Wars fan, but never really got into Star Trek. Saw a couple movies, but that was it. I'd like to see some episodes now that I am older, as I think Star Trek holds more fascinating questions regarding physics and space exploration.

Star Wars is a saga - One LONG story told across generations.
Star Trek is a continuing series - many stories told within a framework- similar characters, similar "guidelines".
I prefer Star Trek.

some Trekkies could desire to hate on me for this remark yet... the hot celebrity Trek action picture replace into remarkable and the hot celebrity Wars video clips all sucked. If we've been evaluating older celebrity Wars video clips to older celebrity Trek video clips celebrity Wars could win hands down. celebrity Wars additionally has cooler characters. Captain Percard, Spock, or Dayta have no longer something on Luke Skywalker, Hansolo, Jabba The Hut. each time I watched the celebrity Trek sequence back interior the day it replace into additionally sure to place me to sleep it is so boring lol.

Star Trek no contest. More depth to it - Star Wars always struck me as Lord of the Rings in space.Even in the schmaltz stakes Tribbles rule Ewoks.
