I did not use my account for a period of tome and was most upset that my mails has been deleted

No, sorry. (It happened to me once when my back went out and I was off line for a long time.) I even had to get a new e-mail address because it was too much of a hassle re-activating my old one.
You could e-mail there service department. I really doubt they can help because that data has been deleted most likely.
But if its REALLY important you can try help@yahoo.com or who ever the account was with. IE Hotmail, gmail, or others. also instead of help try questions, security, <--Not sure what they use.

Only the way is to search in deleted items.

Unfortunately, no ... Once the mail is deleted, it is gone forever.
