Relax!!!! First of all let me say this...From my experiences... I would contact a doctor you may know, read a good book, visit library or online to get good enclosure information then make a speech in front of your friend. To make your speech interesting... you may contact your organization regarding to Leukemia and have them come and share a few minutes (a sort of way to input information how to support their cause) if your teacher allows it.

Now.... just to add this, I want to say this, be sure on the night before your speech, pick a comfortable outfit, take a shower or bath, drink tea and sleep 8 hrs then the next morning, be sure to eat good breakfast and say a morning prayer. Smile!

Word of the wise~~~~ Dont cram your project! Good Luck!

i think the advice given here is excellent. what i'd like to add is that to make ur speech more interesting besides talking abt the info u hav on the disease, try to put in some actual incidences.. like the ppl here said, visit some hospitals, meet the patients....besides, to add a li'l colour, make a drawing or something on chart paper so that it also becomes visually interesting.... or u could also shoot a movie of the ppl who've previously suffered from the disease and hav been successful to fight it... u could do a whole slide show(if that's allowed)
and do try to be truly concerned abt what u r going to tell the class. make them realise what the problem is.. let it not be just a speech.. make them concerned also!!
all the best! :-)
