Which WLAN is the best? (B, G, N, ?) Do i need extra hardware to amplify the signal? Thanks in advance

Wireless signals can travel a significant distance from the access point, depending on a variety of options, such as antenna length, and power options...the largest WiFi link between two facilities is currently 125 miles, so you can have a wireless signal travel between houses...depending on the orientation of the access point and client computer. Hardware can be purchased (such as longer antennas, or signal amplifiers) that can modify the distance a wireless signal can travel. A simple search will return many websites selling such devices, however it may or may not be legal in your locality to strengthen the signal past a certain point.

No. it cannot travel from one house to another. It max distance is 250 mtr to 300 mtr. or it may depends on the manufacturers capacity. i think G WLAN is best.

i already connected in my n/w the max distance is 100mts only
