Biggest waste of 2 hrs imaginable. Hmm, there's a stranger that keeps callling...oh no, how can I avoid talking to him...let's think, not answer the phone? Wow, what a concept, I could have never come up with that on my own. Oh yeah, and when the alarm goes off at a stranger's house after a thousand creepy phone calls, lets not just assume that it was an accident. Problem solved, no long drawn-out movie necessary.

I loved the first one. I watched it as a teenager and it scared the crap out of me. I babysat alot back then. No one had upstairs though and I was glad.
The new one didn't do anything for me though. I used to think the first was the scariest movie that I'd ever seen. With caller ID and everything today, it's not likely that it would happen which takes a lot of the mystery out of it.
