I would choose The Force.
The light saber is just a weapon, and so its usefulness is generally limited to fighting. Besides, I'd probably end up cutting my own arm off, if I were allowed to have such a thing. ;)
However, I like the Force, because it can be used in a lot of different situations. The ability can be developed to do almost anything, like peering into the future or seeing things without having to look with your eyes (moms really do need eyes in the back of their heads!)...
Sometimes, I wish I had the Force, because I forget to turn the light off when I've already laid down in bed and don't feel like getting back up again. I would rather expend mental energy than physical energy then. ;)
Oh yeah, and I like the idea of being able to influence smaller minds to do my will. Come on... When Obi-Wan did that to the storm trooper, it was so much easier than fighting it out! :)
