I like anime due to his deeper plots and mature themes. I love computer animation and wish it too would adapt to a more mature theme and adult situation like anime or science fiction. There are a lot of great sci fi novels that are too prohibitive cost wise to be produced as live action but are very doable as animation. Unfortunately, many American studios use CG animation for only kid films and comedies. And I do love those films I would just like to see an adventure without the talking animals.
I'm still a huge fan of 2D animation and love Justice League/Unlimited for pushing the envelope on more serious superhero cartoons. I love character development. Where characters grown and change. for example: I used to love Exo Squad as a kid. I like to see the character change as the war when on. unlike GI joe where they were having a great time fighting. Exo Squad had a underlining story of how war is bad and eventually you long for peace.
