There are plenty of ways to find out if you're sexually compatible without having intercourse. For those of you who said you'd want to know before marriage, you're obviously not being creative enough on top of the sheets to figure it out.

If BOTH of you are virgins, you can "learn" how to do it together. It's obviously a natural part of life, so it's not like you're not going to know how to do it. And if you get stuck in a rut, you can always turn to Answers for some ideas to spice things up, right?

I think it's great that you've decided to wait until you've met the man you plan to marry before having sex. It's refreshing given all the young girls on Answers who know way too much about the subject. :)

It would be better to meet the right person, get married, and lose your virginity to them..but it isnt always like that. Just cuz you sleep with someone who you arent going to marry doesnt make you a sl*t or mean that you dont take sex seriously. Sex is something special that should only be done with someone you love and care for a lot...so if you decide you want to take your relationship to that level..then that's ok as long as you know you will not regret it and it is being done in a loving relationship.

although a GREAT idea in theory, by todays socialogical way, not wise. EXAMPLE:

my Best friend was with a woman for 10 years. NOT married, NO SEX, got married 2yrs ago. at first it was ok, but after she started to see how things could be, she started cheating on him, very quick

i believe in monogomy 100% but i also think that experience takes a role by todays standards. Women are becoming more liberal, and as such, it is becoming more acceptable for them to epxerience before marrige, less there be problems otherwise.

may not happen in every instance, but i use this example all the time.

There is a double standard in our society. We think guys who sleep with a lot of girls are "pimps". And women who sleep with a lot of men are "sluts". I think it would suck. I don't think that you should sleep with every person you should meet. But it would be nice to have the experience for a lot of reasons. The sex could be horrible when you wait until marriage. You can also regret later that you never slept with anyone but your husband probably slept with 5+ women.

people have the wrong impression that if sex is with the right person it's going to be magical. that's not always true and people don't always have chemistry together even if they love each other to death.

it would really suck to be stuck with someone who you don't enjoy having sex with for the rest of your life...sex is a HUGE part of a relationship.

and if you protect yourself you aren't gonna catch something. i mean as long as you don't sleep with every guy you meet in passing, and wait til you know someone and like them and are in a relationship, then protect yourself, there is no reason why you have to wait for marriage.

plus, by waiting you are making it out to be this huge deal and you are going to be sorely disappointed on your wedding night when you lose it.

I think its soooooo much better to wait til you're married. I mean, girls who just get it away like its gum arent really understanding there value. Its so sad. No. Sex is a physical experience. Weather or not you wait to do it until you're legally binding to someone makes no difference in nature. Waiting is dumb. Being a whore is dumb. Believe it or not there is a middle ground.
