Among this models and manufacturers of hard drive which would you recommend to me?

It depends on your use for it, if you're not going to be using it like crazy...then the seagate is what I would go with...I personally would go with the Maxtor, b/c of the 8MB Cache, but if I were buying the drive for me, I would probably go with at least a 120 GB drive ;)

Edit for Just Me: actually, SATA is far faster than IDE...and in any event, all of those drives are IDE...so I don't know what went through your brain to cause you to type that...utterly useless!

Stay away from Maxtor. They break very easily.

Seagate or Kingston. If you dont travel too much and need it on the go, I suggest you use non-portable ones. Portable harddrives are very fragile. One drop and all your data can be gone.

IDE is the best one now a days.

Choose Seagate its built in Tank so its durable.

1st preference is Seagate.
But mind you, Samsung gives 5 years warranty straight away.

So decision is yours....,
