Someone else asked a similar question and I'll give you the same answer the most depressing song of all time is The Kids by Lou Reed off the album Berlin which is also probably the most depressing and harrowing album ever made. I listened to the whole album last week and I'm still a little sad because of it.

Depressing song? I love this song but had it come at another time in my life I may have killed myself! It's the Keith Urban song" You'll Think of me" The most beautiful, terrifying breakup song ever!

I don't know that it's the most depressing, but "Brick" by Bens Folds Five is incredibly depressing. I do like the song, though.

'Depressive' is a strange word....everyone has a different meaning and feeling when it comes to that word. Some of my favourite 'depressive' songs are:

Pearl Jam - "last kiss"
Newsong - "the christmas shoes"
Clay Walker - "a few questions"
Rascal Flatts / Mark Wills - "what hurts the most"
Metallica - "fade to black"

and they keep coming....
