I am 37, tested positive for menopause with a home menopause test kit, and have PMS symptoms worse than ever. When will this stop?? I live in a new country with nationalized health care and don't have my card yet so I can't go to the doctor unless it is an emergency. I should get my new medical card in a few months but I am miserable now. Please advise.

I have been there too, I had surgical menopause at 30. What helps is to cut caffiene, nicotine and extra fats and sugars from your diet. try to eat only whole foods and definitely eat soy if you can tolerate it. Eat things that help detoxify your body, pickles, cranberry juice, grapes, etc. The less toxins you ingest, the less bothersome your hot flashes and other symptoms will be. Try to find some sort of hormone replacement therapy over the counter until you can get to the doctor and get the real thing.
Best of luck to you.
Blessings.

If you find out the answer, please let me know. But seriously, soy can help. When I am going thru pms, I treat myself to dinner out at a Japanese Restaurant. I always order Miso soup which high in soy and also eat the Edamme. Then if you eat some Sushi, you get some protein and oh, a glass of plum wine goes a long time in helping you to feel better.
I also just realize that this is the way it is right now and try to lay low during pms staying away from social engagements and don't make any important decisions.

the first thing you need to do is begin by getting enough water every day. try to take a walk as much as possible. I know it seems horrible but you will get through it i did. You must first of all try not to get too stressed out that does not help at all. make sure you get enough rest. The hot flashes will be rough but they wont last too long at a time. there are womens vitamins for menapase when you can afford them they have vitamins and mineral that will help you.
