Yoga and meditation can help the body relax, which can reduce stresses and promote healing. I've heard this can be helpful in cancer patients like myself, and I wanted to see if anyone had any recommendations. Thanks!

Have you contacted the Hippocrates institute in Florida? They get lots of cancerpatients and may be able to help you.
Yoga and meditation is very good for most illnesses. I'm also thinking of sprouted mungbeans, and acupuncture. And avoid sugars and milkproducts as they might exalerate the tumor growth.

well, I can't think of any dvd's... but a really good book on meditation is Autobiography of a Yogi. It's one of my personal favorites. It's really inspiring. Any books by the author Paramahansa Yogananda are very inspiring and helpful. He's written several books, including one called Metaphysical Meditations. I know there's been videos made, but I don't know if any of them deal with meditation specifically. If anything, they've always helped me with any problem I've had, and my mom's been meditating for years. The website is www.yogananda-srf.org. One book that deals specifically with healing is called Harmonizing Physical, Mental, and Spiritual Methods of Healing. Please excuse the references to God, it's the website of a church I'm familiar with. Best of luck!

I really like Yoga Zone's dvd's. They have so many options depending on what you're looking for, plus they create a nice balance of explaining the poses in detail for a beginner, but also more advanced options for when you have more experience.

Hope this helps, and that it will provide relief, health, and joy. Namaste! :)

I don't know about meditation, but there is a DVD called " the Gerson Therapy " covering some research by doctor Gerson who cured cancer with diet. his daughter is running a clinic in Mexico.[ because it's illegal to treat cancer with anything other than conventional medicine in the U.S. My uncle has had success treating colon cancer with it.

mukunda stiles is a very good teacher - i used to go to his lessons and if he doesn't know how to help you he will pass you on to someone who will...

i think he is an amazing person with a special hand to help!

don't just try any yoga because it might even make your illness worse....it's important that you do it under supervision by someone who really knows what he/she is doing!
