It will work (provided you buy the right motherboard that will support your processor, RAM, and has the same number of expansion slots)...but you will probably have to repair or reinstall windows.

Yes, as long as you have the same "Slots" for the Video card, Sound card, Internal modem cards, etc. All software drivers will come across to the new motherboard with your hard disc drive.

If you buy ATX mother when you have non ATX it may be problem Choose your CPU setting ask your vendor and query him is your PC ready for upgrading a new items and which is best for your computer.
