You will need to be a little taller, but you're still growing so it's possible. I've answered this question a few times today. See this link:

I don't know why so many girls want to be models... it's not an easy life. I know it makes you feel better about yourself if you think you can be a model, but the reality is, almost nobody can actually be a model. Hollywood gives us an unrealistic impression of what's beautiful. There is a wide range of beauty out there, and the modelling world is focused on one kind... the kind that looks good on magazine covers. Real men and women recognise beauty on so many other levels, although, when you're `14, it's hard to see that because people your age are completely superficial and have no idea what is important in life, and no ability to recognise beauty other than what is shoved down our throats at the supermarket checkout line.

I have done some fashion modelling, but I'm 5'11", 135lbs, and I used to be a man... so there you go... anyone can do it, but it's very hard... it's not an easy way to make money... that TV show about it only shows a small percentage of the pain you will go through.

Models can make at age 17, so if you have the goods, u won't have to wait 5-6 yrs. But u should aim for 5'10". 5'6" is still bit short. Don't starve yourself yet. Get the height, then diet back.

yes, you definitely have the chance to be a model as long as you always watch your figure, you have the guts to do it and you got the height...you are tall for a 14 years old gurl...so if i we're u try to practice how to walk llike a model and you have to have an attitude for yourself like the discipline especially on the food that you're going to eat....discipline,confidence and always look good

WELL EVERY MODEL NEEDS A PORFOLIO. YOU CAN EITHER GET A FRIEND TO TAKE SOME PICTURES OF YOU OR GET IT PROFESSIONALLY DONE. THEN SEARCH FOR SOME AGENCIES IN YOUR AREA. SEND YOUR PICS TO SOME AGENCIES. YOU CAN GO TO YAHOO SEARCH TO FIND AGENCIES NEAR YOU. SOMETIMES SCOUTS WILL COME TO YOUR AREA TO FIND TALENT. YOU CAN GO TO THEIR OPEN CASTING CALL. IF YOU WANT TO GO THE EASY WAY YOU CAN GET AN ONLINE PORFOLIO. FOR CHEAP OR FREE! HERE ARE SOME WEBSITES-

www.instantcast.com
www.models.com

I HOPE YOU BECOME SUCCESSFUL IN YOUR FUTURE MODELING CAREER. REMEMBER,NEVER PAY FOR AN AGENCY! THEY PAY YOU!
GOOD LUCK! ^_^

you could become a model in less than 5-6 years --- that ain't the problem.
but think about it. that's the easy but risky way to start a career.

Anyone can model! You just have to work your butt off to meet the right people, push yourself into the market, dont take no for an answer!

Even morbidly obese girls have to model for their clothes (no offense ladies!)
