BEING WISE is the best asset anyone could have

Life.

What is it?

Scientifically? A state in which organisms are able to carry out life processes, ie respiration, digestion (for animals) and yes, reproduction, et cetra.

As in the context of the question? A concept, nothing more. The time in which we are born to the time in which we die.

God?

(Or any God in any other religion for that matter)

What is it?

Scientifically? A religious concept, nothing more. Albiet one that has many scientific flaws in it.
Religiously? The Creator. The Giver of Life. He who started the universe.

Wait.

Back to the point.

This question is asked by 2 kinds of people

* Depressed people
* People who have utterly nothing better to do with their time

You will never find a person usefully occupied asking this question. Why? Simply because (s)he does not find the question useful or relevant to his/her life.

Depressed people find that life is useless. What is the meaning of life anyway? Agony? Torture? Life is filled with that. There is love, too. And friendship. And happiness. Yet these are often full of uncertainty, stained with a tinge of regret, loss, sadness--When they come in the first place. Which is rare. Agony and hardship, on the other hand, are so often found in our daily lives.

So is this why we are sent here by God (I'll be using this as the word for the God in all other religions. No offence to any other religions is intended. I am not a Christian. I chose it simply because it's short and easy understand)? As playthings of God? To be viewed from everywhere, to be laughed at at the utter foolishness of our lives?

But then I ask.

Life is hardship. Is death peace?

Death.

What if death isn't blissful ignorance, at peace with God and the world?

What if death was simply...nothing?

People flee Life to Death because they think that Death can offer them peace. Is that true?
Furthermore, to flee Life would be a cowards' way out.

Life is hard. So? You're only one human being. Do you think that your life is the hardest out of this six billion world population?

What is hard?

Is Death a heroes' exit?

Or is it simply a cowards'?

Are we left to believing what the ancient Greeks did? Valhala?

Have you heard of the phrase "It is not the end, but the journey, that matters the most"?

People run rounds around a track, only to end up at where they began. Is that senseless?

"It is not the end, but the journey, that matters the most."

All of us must meet Death. Yet you choose to meet it earlier simply because you cannot face the alternative.

Then what is your life? What value would people put into it--when you yourself don't?

God gave us Life. God is always right, even though we may disagree.

Are you outrightly defying Him by saying that Life has no meaning?

Have you considered that He has reasons for it that are beyond human comprehension?

So why live?

Live for the small pockets of joy and happiness. Live to love others. Live to make other lives worth living.

Live to overcome the despair of not living.

That is the essence of what I believe Life to be.

My argument is short, I know. It's not perfect either, I know that too. But think about it.

Till death do us part.

Being clever can only be measured by examining one's life and seeing how many decisions were actually advantageous to the person and to all around them.
To me the meaning of life is to be the best person that we can be and strive to care about others and worship our God in the best way possible . . . with our hearts and actions.

life has many many roads and crossroads
so it is best to be happy ever which road one takes
because when the journey is over and comes to a end
one will not be able to back track or try to start the journey over again

The meaning of life is this: To beat your previous record of most consecutive days alive.
I beat mine everyday. Yeah!

No, that wasn't a maturbation joke!
