lol@ the answers b4 mine.
First of all I don't have kids but I think MOST women don't exaggerate. For starters b4 you get pregnant your Uterus is about 2 or 3 inches in circumference...but as the baby grows so does your uterus...then after 40 weeks of caring 30 or 40 pounds of extra weight around your midsection, this life rips it's self through a hole no bigger than if you put your thumb and index finger into a shape of a circle.....sometimes that hole TEARS.....and you have you get stitches...not to mention the stress your body goes through after labor...the mental anguish and physical fatigue. Be happy you'll never have to experience this...Now that I think about it...I think I'll Adopt lol

tell ya what i'll pinch your perineum (that's the skin just behind your testicles and above your anus) and i'll pull it as far away from your body as it can stretch and then i'll put three or four total strangers in the room and they will all count to ten (slowly) i can't release the skin until i hear the number 10. I HAVE five children and i never had an epidural and labor and delivery HURTS LIKE H***!! my third child was all without pain killer and he wheighed in at 9 pounds 15 ounces ( we all joke and say he was 10 pounds but he pissed before they wheighed him) I DID IT! i was sooo proud to be able to say i birthed an almost 10 pound baby without pain killer. i wonder if things would have been different if i would have been told i was getting morphine or something but they actually only slipped me some sugar water in a syringe...... i won't lie , i had a hard time trying to push him out, it seemed like he was stuck, (really huge head)......
i'd also had labors induced and those contractions are unnaturally stronger and more painful that just natural ones (not that natural contractions weren't painful and real and hard to deal with)
i found that i could relax myself by using some of the lamaze methods and that did help some . but getting an epidural is definately the way i wish i could have had been offered .
all my babies were over 8 pounds!
would you go to a dentist and have a filling put in or a root canal without novacaine?

A man will never know real pain. I have broken both knees at the same time, and that was painful, but it was a picnic in the park compared to giving birth!
I had contractions which felt like red hot pokers down there for 24 hours, then, off to the hospital to be told I wasn't ready yet. 28 hours in labour, being told not to push yet, when the pain is soooo bad your body is pushing for you. I had no pain relief, no gas and air - I was beeging for even a Paracetamol!!
I had 28 stitches down there, I didn't have a c-section, they basically had to sew me up again after I had my baby. I got no pain relief while they were doing that either.
I sat on a rubber ring with ice in the middle for 2 weeks afterwards, and the first time I had a poo after giving birth was almost as painful as the event itsself, what with all the stitches etc...
Worth it in the end though (I think!)

well I thought it was kinda fun after the first four but the next four were pretty bad.
I have a friend that just passed a kidney stone the size of three grains of sand and he was rolling on the ground in agony - well I just said magnify that by 10,000 and you still won't get the same dimensions of something that big having to get it out of you body.
I still haven't figured out why I keep putting myself through all that pain cuz the childbirth is nothing compared to raising these varmints

oh it is the worst pain that you will ever feel in your whole life thankfully they have this needle they shove up your spine called an epidural, but they will only give it to you after they let you lay in pain while you dialate further...lol..
then after it is all over it feels like you have drug your *** and snatch down a highway going 60mph from all of the stitches they put in down there from the ripping, tearing, pulling, and cutting....on the good side a womens body puts out a natural chemical in her brain so that the birthing process is not stored in the traumatizing part of the brain that way they will actually do it all over again like me..lol i am 4 months prego now and i have a 4 year old son...

It is actually like the funnest carnival ride you can think of. We just lie to people so we get all the fun and you don't.
I'd do it daily if it were possible.
