In India, some boys throw acid on the face of the girls, if she rejects his love. Don't they think it is inhuman? What if their sisters get the same treatment or themselves by the girls relatives? Some even kill the girls. Is it true love? I think true love is one which requires sacrifice.

if they consistantly punished all those who do that, i bet the next guy who plans to do it will think twice. so the problem is that the authorities (police, judges etc) are participating in this madness as well. ewww

Different cultures have different ideas of what is acceptable behavior. In Pakistan, for example, it is socially acceptable for three grown men to publically rape a 13-year-old girl as punishment for her brother's crime (his "crime", by the way, was having sex with a girl from another Pakistani tribe.... oooo, big bad crime, eh?) Well, Pakistan culture permits this public rape of little girls, and the entire town will watch the rape as if it were completely normal. This happened recently and some American tourists who saw it were outraged, although the local Pakistanis were fine with it.... It's all about culture, sadly.
If only all cultures would adopt just one principle... just ONE basic principle that we should not cause unwanted physical harm to others... then maybe we could finally have world-wide peace. If everyone would agree to never bring unwanted physical harm to others, and to tolerate all other behaviors (hobbies, sexual orientation, religion, and so on), would there finally be peace? I think so.
Yes, it's horrible that those boys throw acid on those girls, and sometimes kill them. I wish Indian culture would change to value all human life... not just the boys.

You have the same mentality as me. Nowadays, there is no true love all who love only have infactuations. If at all they love, they should help the loved ones. Otherwise, just get away from them by leaving them live. By putting acid or killing the loved ones means not a love.

That is a very cruel, selfish and spiteful thing to do. They believe in Karma and reincarnation so I expect they will pay heavily for their unspeakable crime. It is a consequence of the modern world clashing with the old tradition of arranged marriage I imagine. Very ugly and unfortunate.

They are very sick & cruel guys.The only intention they do that is because none of the other guys should see her face or i mean to say she should not keep an affair with any1 else other than him.

because they are so deep in a relationship and they are too connected if a simple mistake comes by they fight with each other and hatred takes place fast.that is why it is better not to be in a tight relationship
