Go to store and check the aisle where washing detergent is sold, look for "20 mule team borax" it should be in a box with a picture of a team of horses pulling a man in a wagon. buy it, at home mix with sugar, 3 or 4 Tablespoons of the borax to 2 1/2tsp. sugar.Mix in together as much as you need, mix well & sprinkle where needed,in cabinets, corners, under sink, after 8 days you won`t find a roach in your house, or where ever you sprinkle it, It kills `em dead, it won`t harm you, it`s a detergent.

Boil some Linseed oil until if turns sticky , then sped onto a piece of cardboard .. in the centre of the card place some Curry powder ...The love it but will get stuck in the very sticky oil.!! and its safe to people and better than any poison like " Goliath Gel" which is very toxic.
This method is used quite a lot be UK Pest controller's.

as a trap, get a glass bottle that is smaller at the top than the bottom, put wine or beer in the bottom of the bottle (used cooking oil works too) and leave it in an area where you find roaches (under sink, hot water system etc), they climb in the bottle and can't get out.
Also, a bit messy but putting orange peel around deters them, they don't like the smell.
