i saw plenty....but it takes some practise...
and a lot of meditation to see other energies than just the ones we actually are told to 'see'

Personally, I have many times seen my father while still living at home after he suddenly passed away, we figured he was keeping a close eye on us as he left us financially in a bad place. There were certain feelings, and little things he did playing with things around the house, especially more so when things weren't going so well. He showed a fairly regular presence for a couple years after he died. My sister and I could walk into the bathroom and just about the thickness of a curtain as we walked into the bathroom both of us could pretty regularly smell a very familiar scent of his brand of cigarettes when they are wet from being tossed into the toilet. I don't think my mom ever smelled this in the past almost 8 years now. My dad died while on vacation with us 8 years ago next month. My husband and I used to hear our neighbor for about a month or 2 after he died, he was an old italian man who used to sing opera type music to himself not very loud from time to time in his apt. Our bedrooms were side by side. He died in hospital but our cats knew he had died before we knew for sure. We used to hear him singing and walking around the then empty apt for 1-2 months after he died. I think our son can see at least 1 ghost or spirit as I can hear him sometimes having baby talk conversations in the middle of the night when he wakes up some nights. My cousin who is now 8 years old has seen her grandmother since she was a baby probably, when I was babysitting her as a baby it felt a lot of the time like someone else was there. And since she has seen her grandfather and great grandfather shortly after their deaths a year apart.

I'll tell you of the one in my bedroom some years ago. I was in the bathroom going pee!! I couldn't sleep, so I put my glasses on and was about to go downstairs. I had the bathroom door open. My shower had mirrors that slid. you know that kind? Well, I was looking in it and saw an orange apperition of a woman glide from one side of the room to the other! I turned to look and of course, nothing was there. No one else was in the room. I've heard a gathering of people in an iowa 1800's house as well, but it's not as exciting.

I was taking care of my new little boy and I was staying at my husbands, cousins house. It was 3:00 in the morning and I was just laying beside him with my back to the bedroom door. I heard a voice that sounded like a little girl ask me what I was doing and my heart kinda fell because I knew nobody was in that part of the house. I picked up my son and went to the living room.

Several things happened in the house. There were a few things that just kinda where like games, I felt. After the night I was laying on the bed, I decided to sleep with the lights on if I couldn't fall asleep before 3.

Once while returning from a late nighshift,i was told by the security not to travel as it was amavasya and that it was past midnight.

I still took a call and went ahead.i was pretty afraid as i had to drive thru dense shrubs and a lonely patch of two km.
Suddenly i saw a white body ducking in the bushes,i started reciting Hanuman Chalisa and as i was about 15m away from the body it suddenly sprangup and stood.

OH! it was just a villager who was crouching to attend to nature' call but in that split second i virtually fell from bike.

our imagination makes ghosts!

I DIDN'T BELIEVE IN GHOSTS UNTIL THIS HAPPENED...

As a student 10 years ago, I shared a house with three buddies and we all got on famously...

One day I had my younger sister come stay with me to check out what University life was like (first night she got 1. drunk and B. a hickey - she loved it!) so I slept in Mikey's room as he was away for the weekend.

A ghost walked into the room, simple as that, it was an old lady and an incredibly powerful smell of violets/lavender came into the room with her, the smell made me relax instantly as it reminded me of my own Grandmother but I was pretty much paralysed in bed with my eyes closed not really knowing what to do.

The old lady came over to the bed and sat on it, I felt the bed depress as it seaming took her weight.

She leant over and kissed me on my cheek, I felt the bed lift as she moved off it and she faded out of the room and the smell did also slightly after her.

I didn't sh*t myself once during the entire thing, and fell back asleep instantly...in the morning everyone I told assumed that I was a. on drugs or 2. off my head anyway (including my sister) ...until Mikey came back after the weekend,

I told him what had happened in his room and he properly went white as a sheet and subsequently wouldn't sleep in that room for a couple of days after...the same kind of thing had happened to him, but the old lady and the kindly smell came into his room and just stood there and looked over him in bed. He felt the same semi-palalysed feeling but he did say that she relaxed him and he felt very much at peace...as I did.

Things I learnt from that night forward:

I don't know whether ghosts exist, but something happened that I can't explain and I will never dismiss the subject so freely in the future...

Also, my housemate was so gross that he couldn't even get a kiss off a dead person!

I truly haven't made this up: and six years later something else happened to me as well, but that is something I am not so sure I will share...

this did infact happen to me I was living in bend oregon at the time and i just moved in with my mom and my stepdad i was around 13 at the time anyways i was watching tv at 2 am. while watching i kept hearing the sounds of bugs hitting the window (I uesd to live in west monroe , la and this was really common ) It was loud but i just ignored it finnally i really started to wonder if it really was bugs so i looked out my window and there was nothing the sound was really loud and sort of had the pattern of a ticking clock but it would miss beats i just ignored it and continued to watch my show . about an hour later i heard my parents bedroom door open i knew i would be in trouble if i was caught being up this late so i pretended to be asleep (just so you know the tv room is seperated from the house by two french doors) Which is something thats really hard for me to fake cause i can't stop smiling i tried as hard as i could to fake being asleep as i heard the foot steps coming from her room to the tv room the door opened and i couldn't help but smile but instead of seeing my pissed mother i saw no one the door that was closed was completely open now and that bug sound or whatever was louder i ran up to my room and tried to go to sleep but my door to my bedroom kept slamming i was frieghtend but i was so tried that i grabed two phone books from my room and all the pillows i could get to wedge between the door and the frame finnally the door still moved but there was no sound i just turned over put my music on and went to sleep

another time i was taking a bath taking to my boyfriend on the phone and all of a sudden the curtains opened that was really scary too be now i laugh about it i call him the peeping tom ghost ( I was in colorado when this happened and i closed the curtains cause my family doesn't know the meaning of privacy )

I have lots of stories like these two some scarier some quite funny but for people to deny ghost is just plain stupid i have caught many pictures of ghost in my own house let alone creappy places like gold camp if you don't believe in ghost go see the T.A.P.S web site all of their findings will shock you

My mother's house is filled with them.

Here's one story when I was younger about 12 yrs old, I was downstairs watching tv with the lights off and nothing scary either, it was Anne Of Green Gables, it was during the summertime and my brothers were outside hanging with their friends, mom was upstairs doing something, dad was out with his buds. Anyway my one brother Drew kept running in and out and whenever he opened the door a streetlamp would shine light in my face which after a while is annoying.

When Drew went out last I turned my attention back to the tv when the door opened again and the streetlamp shined in my face, me being ticked off yelled at Drew knowing it was probably him I told him I was going to tell mom if he didn't stop running in and out, when I noticed that the form came in was a little bit bigger than my brother Drew. I watched it come inside and walk directly up the steps it was all shadow, but somehow I knew it was a man, he walked up the steps slowly as if he were watching me when I asked What did he want. He started laughing, nothing evil or crazy, just that kind of laugh that says 'I've scared the sh't out of you haha'

That's when I got up and ran turning all the lights on, when I turned back to the steps he wasn't there anymore, but I ended up screaming bloody murder, my brothers ran in, mom ran downstairs. I told them what happened and my mom swears she didn't see anyone coming up the steps while she was going down them, my brothers all older than by about 5 to 10 yrs went searching the house and didn't find anything, when dad came home he did the samething and no one was found.

I wouldn't go upstairs to my room unless I had someone with me at all times from then on til I felt comfortable enough on my own.

There are a few stories more that happened to my brothers as well as me while we were younger and my mother as well. Some nice and some bad, but the house now my mom says is calm I guess because all of us kids moved out on our own. Anyway if you want to know more stories that have happened let me know and I'll put them up.

well, this is actually true, when i was young we had this huge brick house that belonged to my grandmother, i was visiting only for a couple of days and once you enter that house you can feel a really strong energy from the spirits, my encounter was when i was playing in the woods (with my brother), i saw this "white-lady" (that's what we call it) up in the tree as if she was hanging or dangling, she had big full completely black eyes, when i saw her i just screamed like crazy, we went back home and soon my grandmom had enough hauntings so we sold the house and left the country, i haven't been back for 10 years now.

Yes when I was little I saw one in my house in Philadelphia. She used to visit me in my dreams. Her name was Valerie. She used to give me moral support and told me I was her son, but she lived during Colonial Times. That kind of scared me a bit. She was real nice. She wore a White Victorian Dress, had black hair, and fair skin. I wasn't the only one in my house to see her. My 2 sisters also did and my mom saw her a few times. She visited me the most. I guess because of what she said. Occasionally we would catch a glimpse of her while we were awake in the halway or hear the cabinet openning downstairs. We stopped seeing her when we moved. I kind of miss her though. Yeah you might think I'm crazy for admitting it, but like I said other members of my family saw her too. It really gave me something to think about.

ther was once a time where i didnt so much see but I felt very strongly.
shortly after my dads death, my sister and i were lying in bed together crying uncontrollably talking about him and then suddenly the most calmest peaceful feeling overcame us both, as if it were at the foot of the bed and then right on the side and then we were silent and he was gone. we just looked at each other and was like did that just happen like i know it happened , did you feel it to. like reassuring each other that we were not crazy. it happened , my dad came to calm his girls. it was one of the most wonderful things i ve ever experienced, next to my children... I LOVE YOU DADDY!

also, in the early 80's I was young , a friends mother drove us to kentwood louisiana to see an apperition of Mary in the middle of a pond.. all these people were saying the rosary.
