From now on soccer as you call it, will be known like it is everywhere else on the planet bar Australia, as FOOTBALL. Since it is older, and you use your feet. American football, will now become throwball or sissy ball, as you throw it, and it's for sissy's........

American football is "sissy ball"? So you're saying that men running at full speed, some weighing over 300 pounds and running 40 yards at less than five seconds are wimps? These are the most gifted athletes on the planet, they rely on both speed and strength. Here in America, kids who don't make football are relegated to trying out for the SOCCER team!! So you're gonna sue us, eh, MATE? There is also an Australian rules FOOTBALL, have you forgotten about that? Or is your memory short from having sex with kangaroos and koala bears?
Further, did you know that Australia was originally founded as a colony for criminals and lunatics? It seems that some of them escaped and you are their offspring. USA! USA!! USA!!

We the people of the United States do declare that the English FA can get over it and Start using the term "soccer" or as I prefer "Wanker Ball". You may not like it, but we really don't care. We will continue to watch Monday Night FOOTBALL and you will NEVER change that. Maybe your beloved football is older, we don't care. Ours is much better. Its played by REAL men. It is much more exciting than watching people run around kicking a ball hoping to get it into a net at one end of the field once or twice during a game.

I agree. Soccer is the only true football!
To all the Americans who think that GRID IRON is really tough that is complete bull, on the toughness stakes Rugby is way more hardcore they run at each other full steam and their bodies aren't completely padded up like those sissy american footballers. So don't try to make excuses that Grid Iron is for really tough men.

Football is Canadian, is was invented in the 1600's by British replacement troops coming to the Citadel in Quebec. Canadian Universities introduced it to American Collages in the 1800s, by that time Canada had a professional league of sorts. Check the Canadian Football Hall Of Fame
football/ soccor etc are well played games..does not matter who does what

How about this. We call what you call football soccer and what you call sissy ball we continue to call footbal. I know you foreigners don't care about our kind of football anyway so we will make sure never to mention it to you. When we say soccer...you'll know we mean football and not like grabass or something.

the funny thing with American fopotbal is that they don't use their foot and it takes a lot of plastic to make a real man a MAN les see, shoulderpads knee pads for when they suck :) helmet and what not go look at rugby and see what real men are ur a copy of soccer and rugby and a lot of plactis now tell me what makes american football MEN's game ?
