When the American people stop their government from sending a total of $90 Billion of their taxes to Israel to support their barbaric acts then the fighting will stop.

And also when the American people stop their governments from vetoing any chance of a peaceful settlement, then maybe there will be an agreement.

Very possible but needs time.

When the world starts to see the situation in the Middle East from neutral perspective, not making pre-mature judgments using its biased mentality.

When the new generations starts to realize that co-existence is based on acceptance and that accepting the co-existence of your neighbor means a peaceful environment where we share so we can all live.

And for all the war lords and racists who answered above:
If you want to stop the war in the Middle East why don’t you eliminate the common factor in all these wars [Israel] and see what will happen?

First, exactly who is 'we'? Secondly, individuals cannot really influence policy and war in a foreign country far away, except by way of the politicians they vote vor.

What can you do personnally? I fear not much. You can however try and see the sitatuation for what it truly is, not colored by your own , possibly very emotional, reaction to a full scale war. War is harsh and bloody, and unfairness is inherently part of it.

If the Arab league could make peace with the fact that Israel is there to stay, and handle the dissidents in their own country more effectively, death and distruction would never rain down on them first.

Note that the instigators of Middle East conflict always come from one or more Arab countries - look at the historical facts.

This is a Holy war. The Gaza Strip, The Gollem Heights, and Israel all use to be under Muslim control. They will fight to get it back ALWAYS because Muhammad said in the Koran... "Once a land has been claimed for Allah it can NEVER be relinquished. The Jews believe God gave them the land and will likewise fight forever.

By sitting and talking and by not seeing your selfs as the superior power or a nation which is better than the others. We should see the others as we see ourselfs and value them as equaly as well.

I can't believe that we live the 21 century where all taking are stopped and killing is the only way of communication available.

God help us.......But he will not if we don't help or try to help ourselfs at the begining

announce an invitation to the countries in conflict in a publicly broadcast debate about their issues w/ each other. the program should be broadcast through out the world in all languages. this will allow people of all the countries to understand each countries position. neutral and commonly respected scholar should play the role of judges and discuss each issue's argument and agree on a resolution for each issue debated.

by shifting the conflict on to a world stage, we can avoid arm conflicts and encourage dialog and peaceful solution.

those who refuse to participate would be view largely as ignorant or have something to hide.

i don't believe that having the same religion is what would stop the war... there will always be cultural differences as well as resources that all countries around the world will be struggling to put hands on.
maybe activating the UN's decisions and cancellation of VETO completely would help in that...

why should we? Really, this has been brewing and going on for years, decades, centuries... I say, get US butts out of their business and let them either settle it right as good boys and girls or blow each other up and turn the mid east into the world's biggest piece of glass.
