I take it you've never been there and I hope you never are. Sometimes life is so depressing that you feel like you just can't go on. Sometimes it feels like everything has gone wrong and sometimes you have no family or friends to go to. You think the world would be better off without you and would never miss you. Then you kill yourself.

Some people like myself have been there, but logic sets in. I know deep down my family and friends would hurt deeply if I killed myself. Certain people would blame themselves and never get over it. I think if I tried to kill myself by shooting myself in the head, somehow I'd end up not dying, but being a vegetable the rest of my life.

I at the lowest point in my life considered it, but talked myself out of it. Some people however, must be so depressed that they go ahead and do it. I decided that anti-depressent pills were better than suicide. But, some people are so far gone, you can't help them.

People who kill themselves are usually not sick. They are so depressed that like you said, they cannot face life or the world anymore. They think everyone would be better off without them and that no one would miss them. If you ever think someone is going to kill themselves, try to get them on anti- depressants, it could mean the difference between life and death.

They are unhappy and see no point in living. It's not so much a question of whether they can face the world, but whether there is any point in facing the world.

Plus, they don't think that their life contributes anything worthwhile to the world.

When I was suicidal, I actually thought my family would be better off without me. Silly, huh? But it made pure sense to me at the time.

People commit suicide for lots of different reasons.

I think the main reason is probably, they have so many problems and have tried to talk them threw with people who they feel close to, but are just told to "wise up" or something or other.

People make them feel that their problems are insignificant and that they are just being stupid.

Which leads to the serious consequence of suicide.

And to be honest. I don't believe it is suicide, other people have a high factor of contribution to that persons guilt, sadness and other emotions.

It is usually a last resort to someone who mentally can no longer face the situation they are in.

They "FEEL" sad all the time, and can not seem to break out of it.
This happened to me. I went several years when I just could not see any happiness in ant thing. I almost did me self in.
But for some reason I started to look at my sadness as a fight for life. I had a condition we call depression. I started to Feel better after years of always feeling like crying all the time. Slowly I started to see things in a better light. Now I am OK. I still have times when i an sad,but it passes. It is normal to feel sad once in awhile, but if you are sad all the time seek help. Go to some one that understands what you are feeling. If you know some one that is sad all the time. Get them help as soon as possible.

People usually commit suicide when they, in their inner selves, experience that the least bad (the best) thing they can do is die.

How bad is everything in life if you experience this?

It doesn't have to be based on facts in the objective world but it's always based on psychological facts, psychological facts that always are unique and worth looking for...

Some people cannot tolerate failure affecting their dignity. Failure in love, financial problems, humiliation are also cause of suicide. If a person in a suicidal state of mind has an opportunity to talk to some one, he may change his mind.

MOST of the time:
They are depressed, deeply
They feel there is no reason to live...When, usually, reasons are right under their noses
They just want a break from it all

SOME of the time:
The person is drunk
The person is a "dork" or socially "unfit"
The person is bullied and teased, despite new laws in place

NEVER:
The person is NEVER just doing it for attention
The person is NEVER depressed for a "stupid reason"; there are no such things as stupid reasons to kill yourself
The person is NEVER just doing it to fit in
The person is NEVER doing it to see what it feels like

Those are some assumptions people commonly make...Don't make them or put them into words, ever.
