Natalie Merchant wrote the song "Rain" in memory of him.
He dated Samantha Mathis (Little Women).

Great actor---some of his movies were amazing. I particularly liked him in Dog Fight. Iti s a little known movie, but he was great in it. He unfortunately died of a drug overdose outside the Viper Room in LA back in the 90s. His younger brother Joaquin was with him when he died. So tragic--so needless.
