This generation, the kids who are 18 - 23 , have been brought up on watching celebrities, and thus instead of being intrigued by the world around them, they read People Mag. When George W. Bush is done with the world, I don't think there will be anyone to grow up.

I think this generation is unfairly stereotyped. While it is true some members of this generations are too lazy to do anything besides get off their asses and watch TV, some are active members of the community. I help out at The Chelsea, a rest home for older people. I also volunteer at the library in the summer. I enjoy reading, and not just magazines. My friends have some of the same hobbies as I do, so it's unfair to say that all the members of our generation (I'm 13) are lazy, insignificant members of society.

Highly logical, with crumbling social structure , which does not ensure a balanced intuitional growth, results, very good advancement in material aspects of life, but likely to face loneliness at a very early stage of life, maybe leading to lack of human values, ultimately, a chaos that might lead to a situation that would justify the question of our Great Stephen Hawking !

People tend to say those things about every generation. I'm a baby boomer, and the Great Depression/WW2 generation constantly browbeated us, bitched about us and yet spoiled us at the same time. We still did okay. I think things will work out for this generation, though.

I think they are a bunch of media manipulated mindless morons. They are fools to belive the media lies and propaganda. They have no faith or family values no identity, and thus have low self esteem issues. They seem for the most part worthless and weak. If I were them I would be so mad and doing something, anything except playing vidiot games.

Present generation is more lucky. There are numerous opportunities for them provided they work for them.
Teenagers were controlled by parents and family members. Now grip is weak. Parents must use all their energies to ensure that their child is progressing in right direction.

they are the silver spoon generation. no reading. there's a movie. no going to the library, there's the internet. no cooking skills, there's fastfood/microwave.

I think they will be some very impatient people-wanting everything in an instant. OR they would be great inventors making everything even MORE FASTER/bigger/flashier.

I think that it is the destruction of our civilization. I have to say that when I met someone who is 24 and still living with their parents, it annoys me. I'm fine if they are going to college, or helping the family survive. I just can't stand the mooching. Boogles my mind that parents would put up with it.

Every generation is becoming more 'peacock' than the pervious.
I think one day, we humans will get so proud that we don't know how are we destory.
