Sitting on the dock, purely for sentimental reasons, however I saw him singing at Monterrey pop festival 1967 on a video and his voice was pure cosmic and far more rangy than his recordings. The ultimate blues/soul marriage, (with a touch of San Fransisco flower power chucked in) that perhaps only Marvin Gaye could have brought together.

(Sittin' On) the Dock of the Bay is my favorite, probably even his most popular song, as it was recorded just before his untimely death in 1967.
