1st trip for the bee is 80% while mrs a rides 20% (60 mph vs 15 mph) =96 km
by this time mr a rides 40 km (ratio of speeds)
mrs a rode 24 km so now they are 64 km closer= 56 km apart,
bee turns around
bee flies over twice as fast as mr a but he makes it in less than an hour
in an hour they are getting really close
now the bee doesnt want to be in the middle when he sees this crash coming so he stings... no ... i guess bee flies about
180 km ?

First find out how long they take to crash. Do do this, you know that the distance between the couples is shrinking at 25 kph + 15 kph = 40 kph

d = r * t
120 km = 40 kph * t
t = 3 hours - This is how long it takes for the couple to crash.

You don't have to figure out how many times the bee touches or how many times it goes back and forth. You know that the bee is traveling at 60 kph during that whole 3 hours.

Therefore, the bee's distance = 60 kph * 3 h = 180 km

GUhdsnugdfhgudfg this problem is pissing me off, i've been sitting here trying to work it out, but i'm too lazy to go step by step.

I just know he'll be about 75 km from where he started, and that the total distance will be over 150
