I didn't have the money to pay the lawyer I was using so he dropped my case. My husband overdosed while he had our two girls and the law and ambulance came out for him, he lied under oath that he didn't do drugs. His father smokes pot with him daily and he lied also. I do all I can for my girls but they told the court that I was a bad mother, my oldest daughter tells them she wants her mama and my baby begs to let mama rock her that she wants to go home. I didn't do anything wrong and The Good Lord knows the truth I am dying inside without my girls they need their mother WHAT CAN I DO????

Have you tried getting a new lawyer through legal aid? It's free or reduced fee depending on how much you can afford to pay. You can look them up in the phone book. If he has one of those dishonest, shady lawyers and has the money to keep paying him, you are in for a tough battle.
My brother won a legal dispute in divorce against his ex-wife by using a letter in court. She had written him a letter years before where she admitted to using drugs. The letter was enough proof to make the trial turn to his advantage.
Maybe you can get someone to get proof of his drug use somehow. Pictures or tape recordings if they are legal to use in your state might work.
I hope things work out for the best. I just went through a custody battle for an elderly family member and it was a really difficult year long battle. No one ever really wins in these sorts of matters. Just try to be the best mother to you children. Don't drag them into the battle and don't talk badly about their father to them. Hope it works out well for you and your girls.
