I use to have a big house with everything in the city, and then I got divorced and the wife and kids got it all. Now, I have a small house in the Country, but close to the city.. Its the best place I have ever owned. Its a small 2br ranch and its very inexpensive to cool with A/C.. Remember the bigger your house, the more costly to heat and cool. Also, this liltte house has a WELL and SEPTIC SYSTEM which means I don't have to pay any municipality water and sewer costs.. This house costs me about $900 bucks a year to live and operate. Thats taxes, and electric bill - Wooo Hoooo!

I found my dream house a couple of years ago. It had been neglected and was on a downhill slide. It is a beautiful Spanish Mission style house built in 1936 and we are renovating it. As soon as I walked in I knew this would be the home I would live in until I couldn't walk up the stairs anymore! Every time I walk in it feels like it is putting its arms around me. I LOVE IT HERE!

My dream house is in a hill somewhere, near the suburbs of a big city. It will be in Mediterranean style, with terracotta tiles for our roof, white windows and color motifs will be brown, orange and yellow. It will look so sunny and warm. :)

a small house in our lot, and another small house, maybe a duplex type... but preferably two houses independent of each other but in the same lot. Small houses are easy to maintain.
ONe house for me and my husband, and the other for our only child. When we grow old and my daughter has got a family of her own, we can live altogehter in the same lot but separated houses.

I really like small houses, like tumbleweedhouses.com. I also like old bungalos and 2 story homes with huge front porches. Anywhere near nature.
