See your doc, make sure you don't have sleep apnea. He could prescribe a sleep study, and a apap machine. This will help you breathe better and stop the snoring.

It is quite simple. In fact so simple that when I tell it you will blame yourself why it did not occur to you earlier.
We normally snore when we sleep on our back. If we turn on our side during the course of the sleep;the snoring immediately stops. It returns when we again return to the back to bed position. There is something in this ;posture which brings about some relaxation in our throat muscles which give out the sound of snoring . So cultivate a habit of always sleeping on you side. I know it is not as easy as to advise. Try throwing some hard object a rough stone or wooden thread reals oj old times. When you turn on your back during sleep the things will cause discomfort and your body will authmatically return to one side. Do not fail to thank me after a night's snorless sleep.

Lose any extra weight, see your Dr to see if there is a medical reason for the snoring.
If you share a room/bed with someone, have them wake you every time you snore!

Tell the person to not sleep on their back, it will help a little but they will still snore.

Try excercise...and getting fit. I do not know if you are overweight...my husband lost a 100 pounds and the snoring has reduced dramatically!!
Talk to your doc....he might have some options.
