You must be in the us on the eastern side because I am in Michigan and it is almost 300am here too. I am at work that is why i can't sleep

Lately, I've had the same problem...I have three children ages 8, 6, and 5 months...I NEED SLEEP!!!! I will stay up until around 3 a.m. and sleep in until 10:00 a.m. This can't be good with little kids but I too can not sleep...I'm afraid to try a sleeping pill...afraid I won't be able to get up with my youngest son...Have you tried sleeping medication or asked your doctor about some of the meds that they are coming out with like Ambien or Lunesta???

Honestly, it can be stress, work or hormones. If you work late at night, try a hot shower, soaking your feet and reading a book or listening to music. Maybe a massage will help.
Do not take pills. There is valerian root, which is all-natural, but you must not drink on a regular basis to use this...try yoga or meditation if you are into NEW AGE stuff...I don't want to suggest a lot of alcohol, but a glass or two of red wine on a rough night might help.
Do not work mornings if you are not a 'morning person'. I tried that for years and made it, barely, but I am much happier as a waitress and writer late at night...if the opposite is true, then..you know..
Also, the pill affects your hormones and can screw it up for especially sensitive people...try a lower estrogen dosage and you will also lose a lot of water retention and acne, there are new pills available...stay away from sugar, honey, caffeine and chocolate after about 7 p.m. Good luck...

Smae here.. It is really tiring.. Tossing in bed and unable to fall asleep.
My eyes were already tired looked at the computer or reading books, but when I lie down, my mind is active again!
