I've been watching here in Dubai during the Israeli offensive, and they tell their citizens that Israel is attacking Lebanon with "Chemical weapons", that Israel means harm to the "Entire muslim world", and then they show pictures of injured children with a stamp across the screen saying "Made in Israel". They also continued to say that the U.S. Administration is the "ugliest it's ever seen". Absolute Madness. I know that Iran rules a state run news network and no other is allowed in. What do you think of this injustice?

To answer to this question I must say that I'm from Iran. yes you are right, all of the media is under control by government and it reports on this war constantly. but who cares! we never pay attention to these news from Israel or Lebanon or Palestine. what do you think of us? some puppet in the hand of idiot rulers?
let me tell you something. the last days were "Mother Day" in Iran and all of things that we did , were shopping and going to the family parties.
I wish Israel finish Hezbollah and Hamas then peace will comeback to ME.

Obviously no one's going to answer against this (or I want to argue with them privately)-They know you're right and they're wrong, and they're wrong because they've been watching CNN-they're anti semites on that show.
The arabs ask for Gaza as a peace offering, and use it to launch missles at us from up-close! Then they complain to everyone that Israel has to stop their "non-sense", and the world blames Israel for attacking the arabs for no good reason when Israel TRIES to DEFEND!
And here we are now, entering into yet another war. We're probably going to live like this for a looooong time...

The surest way to control a populace is to control the information they recieve. They don't know any better, so how can we expect them to do anything but obey their fanatical leaders?

Sounds like the same lunacy that blames the occurance of a hurricane on a President. What is frightening is that many over there will actually believe it. God help them...and us.
