You can try history, or my recent documents, but if you didn't save at all while inputing the data, it might be lost. Unless you have data recovery.

"R-Studio Data Recovery Software" is real easy to use, and can even recovery from drive's that have be formatted multiple times. I've used this one, so I would suggest this. It's not free though the demo should be helpfull for your needs.

Ya you'll need data recovery software such as recover98 / recover2000 / recoverer based on ur windows

Gawd - if it was merely deleted instead of going to all heavy artillery why just not restore it from Recycle bin (given you haven’t clean it) ??? If this is a case - no data recovery soft required. LOL
