UNdoubtedly, it is the vast amounts of oil used to prepare it. the next time you are at a take out place, just watch how much oil they pour into your stir fry. You're just greasin the tubes, man.

try ordering off the steamed menu and see if it helps. Where I go, I order off the steamed menu and they give the choice of 4 different sauces to use. There is always enough left over sauce to take home and flavor my brown rice with for a later meal.

the only reason I added this last paragraph, was because you had asked for calorie saving ideas before. There are 120 calories in one tablespoon of canola oil. When you see them douse your vegatables with at least a half cup of oil, THAT IS HUGE.

Hi, you do not mention where you are (and consequently whether the "Chinese" food you eat is American-Chinese food - as in a Chinese restaurant in Kansas or Chinese food from one of America's "Chinatowns" - S.F., N.Y., L.A. and largely made to suit "Chinese' taste,) nor what your usual diet is. Any time we suddenly change our usual food intake our bodies react - so for example, if you usually eat beef grilled with few vegetables and then go out for a food cooked in oil with many vegetables (like Chinese) your body will react. OR

Many Chinese restaurant today cook without MSG or will prepare dishes without it on request.

undoubtedly all the oil they use to cook with. They also use other ingredients which can cause stomach cramps and the urge to go rather suddenly. Delicious but not necessarily healthy.

Speaking from experience I would say food poisoning. Try a different restaurant or make it yourself.

probably because of the high bacteria in it, maybe it was left sitting in the wrong temperature
