Then I receive a "Page cannot be displayed" or "Action Cancelled" partially on the page I am viewing. Any ideas what this is? Thanks!

Sometimes web designers place traps on their pages, so that you can't easily back out. Each time you try, the same page will re-draw. (I don't know how that's done, as I've never written any code for a web page.) If you're having this problem on only one, or a few sites, that could very well be what's happening.

In that case, I'd complain to the site, telling them why you're not coming back -- that's obnoxious. The way to get out is just to use the skinny arrow next to the big "back" button... click it and select a page that's two or more back, to skip right over the page with the trap.

I'm not sure about those messages you're getting, but it may be related. I hope this helps.

Hmm... just found this, which sounds very similar to your problem. A quick look at the page leads me to think it's from the viewpoint of the people who write the code for sites, and you'll see that it's sometimes intentional.
