no, the nurse will take care of all your needs and questions if you have any that's what they are there for to help you and make you feel at home. Your job is to sit back and not worry about anything. May God bless and keep you and yours. Congred. on your new comer

That is no longer common practice before delivery. If you need to be shaved the nurses will do it before delivery. It would be more comfortable for u and also if u do it now, by the time the baby comes, you'll probably have to do it again.

Hello-my wife had 3 children, and I was there for each birth. As far as removal of the hair, it is done for sanitary reasons. I recall our delivery doctor, or one of her team had done the shaving on site, before labor began. If this isn't allowed where you are, then a typical wax, or razor by yourself should work just as well, just remember to keep it all clean for the baby's sake.

WHAT? OYE VEY>>> talk about vain!! Honey, you're going to have at least five men you've never had sex with staring up your Knish....they've all seen plenty of other ones before...and yours simply ain't that special.

Get over it and just have a peaceful delivery....Stop thinking about yourself...you're about to become the sole influence on another human being...time to start acting like one and not some superficial nutjob.

You don't need to remove your pubic hair before you deliver a baby.

It' definitely not necessary. I went into labor 5 weeks early, and hadn't shaved down there. It wouldn't have made a difference. When I had my baby, I definitely wished I would have shaved my arms, though. Because that tape they use to secure your IV hurts like HELL when you pull it off. That's the only thing I'd recommend shaving.

I've wondered about that myself (not having a baby). But I guess what they say above me.

By the way, don't listen to the scarastic remarks, if any appear.

Don't! A nurse will do it, even if you do it yourself. I even had a planned C-section, and she did it anyway. So no matter what you do, the nurse is going to shave you.

It's usually not necessary. If it is, the medical personnel will take care of it for you.
