Palestinians have certain political rights. It is the responsibility of world community to respect and defend them.
Political issues should be sorted only by negotiations. Denying the rights will encourage arm conflicts. Palestinians have voted Hamas in power. When you are in Government you have to change you attitude. Every Hamas leader is a wanted criminal in the eyes of Israel. Without Israel support how can their leadership mobilize support from their people. Only hope is President Bush can force Hamas and Israel to have realistic approach.

The Palestinians weren't the ones being attacked. Even those who HATE Israel agree on that. When everyone BUT Iran and Syria agrees that Hezbollah are misbehaving, you gotta know that there's more than just a fly in the ointment, my friend.
Put on your hip waders, wake up and smell what you're being shoveled. At the very least, turn on something a little less pro-terrorist than Air America.

I think anybody and everybody has the right to defend themselves. I think a better question would be, "Do they or anybody for that matter have the right to be the attacker or should I say be on the offensive?"

Of course, even if they did start the ball rolling, they absolutely have that right...but, did they have the right to kidnap the Israeli soldiers, thus sparking the recent turnoil? That is a better question, IMO...

Before talking about this, they should get rid of extremist branches of their movement. When they declare that their purpose is to eliminate Israel, and busy making weapons for terrorist acts, that's not a defense.

Sure. Just like Israel is defending themselves. It would kinda suck to be a country surrounded by countries that hated them. And not only hate them, but send suicide bombers to kill innocent civillians.
