Well as a writer none of those could ever equalize Oscar Wilde, the wit in his work is far beyond the very commercial books with HP, as i saw all three wrote something for children, so...as a fantasy world, Harry Potter of course is more complex, but at the ground of moralizing none can compare with Oscar's Happy Prince and other tales...He is a genius, and his work is like gold shining bright upon our souls, when the other two are just writers or ..good writers....It's not fair to compare a God with simple mortals

I think anybody who says oscar wilde or enid blyton are better suck. well nobody has ever been better than rowling(in her genre ofcourse) guys like paulo coelho are good but they write entirely different things so they cant be compared. and speaking of comparisons there is no point comparing wonderful rowling with these obsolete writers. There stories are too narrow whereas rowling's books are really diverse and simply put it that way gr8 and they carry a messages to life that others dont. and wats more proof than the fact that she sold more books than anybody on the planet. and i understand the people who dont like her ofcourse success in others brings hate in other people heart some cant stand it. and cant just simply appreciate other people's work. and wat is good in books like that of enid blyton or nancy drew in which people dont even grow up. I think most people would agree with me definitely.

if you are choosing what to read - oscar wilde, because he has written books that you can talk about with intelligent people, for instance, about the reflection of narcissizm in XIX age literature. Rowling is.. as we discussed in literature lessons, like all of the tales - meant to be for children but include such themes that are meant to be for adults. Potter includes such morally unacceptable things that shouldnt be shown for children, and yet they read it. I cant say anything about Blyton, but since i dont know about her, means she's not so good.

I would have thought Oscar Wilde's work is probably better on merit, yet J. K. Rowling would be the more popular.

I would always think Enid Blyton. I grew up on that, and her stoires have been far far more diverse than anything Rowling has ever attempted.

Among the three, I'd say Rowling is the best. Her fantasy - the Harry Potter series - cannot be said to be entirely uncomparable. Yet, one can find many, many, many websites dedicated to discussions, analyses and merchandise related to HP( Harry Potter ) and not to the others.
