Wow.... that's absolutely insane.

Umm, first, not using condoms is a sure-fire way to spread diseases. Are they WANTING their people to get incurable diseases? That's just plain stupidity.

Second, the "natural planning" method doesn't work. It doesn't work because every woman varies in her cycle, and she doesn't work like a clock. You can't always predict ovulation, and when it's safe to have sex without running the risk of getting pregnant.
Take a look at the some religious groups that only believe in that method. You'll notice almost every family has at least half a dozen kids. That's NOT a coincidence.

To keep unwanted pregnancies from happening, the only thing that works is contraception. Whether it be pills, shots, condoms, etc.

It sounds very conservative.

The Philippines is a very religious country and I know their leader, Arroyo, is also very religious. I heard she even just visited the Pope.

Because of their religious ideals, they want to tell people to wait until marriage.

While this is a very idealistic campaign, I don't think it is realistic.

People have sex. That is it. They need to deal with reality and not morality. Unfortunately not everyone will wait until marriage to have sex. And they need to make sure that babies are planned. They need to encourage condam usage.

i'm a theist, and function constantly been very curious a pair of extensive style of religious ideals and philosophies. i do no longer think of that interest is constrained fullyyt to believers. it must be that many atheists even have actual questions approximately specific non secular ideals and practices. as a results of fact that this could be a communicate board on faith and spirituality, this could be a competent place to seek for solutions to such questions, no longer from some chilly encyclopedia, yet from actual practitioners of those religions. additionally, lots of the atheists i be conscious of have frolicked examining faith, to the factor that they have study the Bible, Koran, and various different non secular texts, and can debate them particularly skillfully. yet another subset of atheists may be right here to sell atheism, that's their precise. i think of there are as many motives for being right here, no count if one is a theist or atheist, as there are individuals in this communicate board.

Conservative idiots think that if you give a kid a condom, they will think you are saying that they MUST use it....

but you can give anybody a gun and they wont use it.

Condoms save lives. Guns take them.

I think it is great. I hate condoms. Sex with a condom feels like having sex with a blowup doll. :(
