-Haploid complement of genes: mutations have immediate consequences
-Nearly all the genome is used for coding or regulation - no "junk" DNA
-no histones (like in eukaryotes)
-genes encoding related functions have linked expression (operons)
-colinearity of genes with protein products (no introns)
-accessory genetic units (ex. plasmids)
-almost equal coding sequences on both strands of DNA

As for how we can kill HARMFUL (because there are many that we need to live) bacteria without killing ourselves....
Bacteria have many essential structures that we don't (ex. peptidoglycan in their cell walls). If we can target those for destruction, we can kill them a not ourselves.

the bacterial genome is circular different from human genome which is a double helix... antibiotics kill bacteria by inhibiting translation ( the production of proteins)..

<> Just because something it legal doesn't mean it's right. <> There's a reason you can't spell 'assume' without '***'. People who assume too much end up making asses of themselves. < murder, how come?>> Doesn't make sense, does it - and yet, there you are advocating people merely ASSUME the government is right! <> WRONG! <> Ad hominem attacks hurt your credibility. Perhaps Marc, like me, doesn't see too much in the way of credibility when reading your question. < is NOT murder.>> The term "fetus" literally means "the young in the womb". The fetus IS a living human being. Life begins at conception, not birth nor some arbitrary point in between. Therefore, every abortion constitutes the murder of an unborn human being. <> But the fetus IS human. Therefore, abortion IS murder. < and stupid imagination.>> What's so narrow minded about acknowledging the unborn for the living human beings they are? Since you're unable to do that, wouldn't that suggest your mind is in fact more narrow than mine? < person NOT two.>> That just goes to show how schizophrenic human institutions can be - and you want to ASSUME such an institution (the government) is right.

it is prokaryotic
it do not have histones
it is circular
it has only functional gene
it is not surrounded by any membrane
it lack junk dna
can be eaisly modified
has very less genes

we can kill them by taking sulpho drugs, exosmosis & by taking other bactericidial medicine

you dont want to kill all bacteria: you would die.

there are many beneficial bacteria in our bodies. In fact, there is more bacterial DNA in your body than your own DNA. They are THAT numerous.
