Like happiness, it is a state of mind. You like doing a particular thing in a particular way, or derive the satisfaction of it being done in a particular mood or time, it is fun. Thus what attirubtes to that state of mind is simple - the satisfaction of mind. Generally people achieve this satisfaction by attaching the action to some materialstic thing such as being with friends, or when they do some action like fishing, playing, loving etc.,

A secluded, self-sustaining person would achieve satisfaction by being alone. For him being alone is fun.

going to a dorm room in secrecy and turning everything upside down *frams,pictures, books, short sheeting the bed and switching their socks and t-shirt drawers around and reversing their shoe laces to go from top to bottom. and seeing them take months to realize what still needs to be fixed. for example a girl in my friend's dorm took 3 months to realize her large poster was upside down. talk about a stressed out girl.
