Most dermatologist say that wash your face 3 times a day with soap & filament or bath brush (i mean not very soften cloth).

Maybe you know that oily skin won,t wrinkle as soon as dry skin.

Exercise and eating healthy helps. Use oil free cosmetics that do not plug pores. Exfoliate using lemon and sugar...cut a lemon in half and place sugar on it then apply to your washed face every night. Wash after exfoliating. Also save some money and buy some mary kay products for oily skin. I have tried them. The bad news is that your genetics play a large role. However the good news is that your skin will not wrinkle so easily when you get older.

Well from experience i have oily skin too...and i know its really annoying...

What i do is use a soap that is meant for your face because other soaps can be too harsh on the skin and clog your pores and you dont want that since oily skin is usually acne prone skin.

Make sure the soap is non-comdegenic and if you have allergy reactions to face stuff use a hypo-allergenic soap , just look for one in the face care section

Anyhow, you should wash your face twice a day. Washing your face 5 or 6 time irritates you oil glands and causes to produce more oil. It use to happen to me too. Just limit your washing. and always moisturize in places were your skin feels flaky. and carry oil absorbing sheets, they have it the skin care section and its by clean and clear.

Lastly, pat your face when you wash it rubbing irritates ur skin.

Stop washing! The more you wash the oil away, the more your body will produce it in excess to make up for it. Wash twice a day and apply an oil free moisturizer. I know it seems counter-instinctual to apply moisturizer when your face is already oily, but it probably started producing the oil because your skin is actually dry. By replacing the oil your skin needs to fight dryness with an oil-free moisturizer you will have supple skin without the oil.

The human body does a thing we don't necessarily agree with. You get rid of it and it will just produce more. Ear wax and hair oils does that. I think you're over doing it on the washing. I think 3 times is the max.

I don't think Ivory is your only option. There are cleansers that are meant for oily skin.

I recommend Velocity® Facial Cleanser. It Deep cleans, tones, refreshes and exfoliates.

Then use Velocity® Lightweight Moisturizer. It Softens skin while controlling excess oil on the face. http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/moisturization/moisturization/10001500/default.aspx

You can also throw in the Blemish Control Toner 3, which is an acne medication that leaves your skin free of excess oil. http://www.marykay.com/adina_k/skincare/classicbasicskincare/10106500/10106500/default.aspx

The last thing is the Acne Treatment Gel. It will dry and clear blemishes, and allows skin to heal without irritation.

Also try the Oil Mattifier. It’s a lightweight formula that instantly absorbs oil and helps control shine. You can apply it over your foundation or beneath.

Apply rubbing alcohol with a cotton ball as many times a day as you can.
When you can afford it, buy some tea tree oil (at GNC) and try that instead. To use tea tree oil, moisten a cotton ball with water and add 1 drop of tea tree oil to cotton ball and apply all over face. It helps my son.
