You can CHAT on the Yahoo! Messenger - by including the full Yahoo! IDs of your friends in its Contacts' list, and sending them an invite to join you.
When they accept your invite, you will be able to know whenever they are online, and directly chat with them. Or, you can simply send IMs to them, which they will receive later, when they come online !
But 'chanting' (reciting something, monotonously, repetitively and rhythmically) ?! You will lose even the friends you have, if you try to bore them with any such chants !

Ok, here's the step-by-step guide:
First of all download and install yahoo messenger.
After the install, login with your username and password.
Click on "Messenger" then select "Yahoo Chat!" and then select "Join a room".
You will be presented with the list of rooms available based on different categories. Select a room and click "join". That's it. You can now chat with members in that chat room.

1. Download the latest version of yahoo messanger
2. install yahoo messenger
3. login into the messenger using your Y! username and password
4. Go to the chat room that you wnat to go.
5. Or invite your friends into using yahoo messenger

On messenger click on messenger in the menu bar. Click yahoo chat and Join Room.
