What do you think? I was thinking of trying this look out. Basically a french manicure, with black instead of clear. My style is very classic, sophisticated and sleek.

If you like classic, sophisticated and sleek: I always do a red/bronze on the base with a metallic yellow strip along the top about 2 millimetres wide. Always get comments for it and a lot of clients ask to get their nails done the same. Black with white would be more gothic than classic, maybe try a metallic grey instead of black.

go for it, if you don't like how it looks you can just remove it right?? I rarely ever do a French tip with the right colors, I'm always using blues & reds, bright pinks & even black. It's more fun being creative with your nails then just sticking to the basics. & again it's not permanent so if it doesn't come out right you can just take it off.

Have fun!!

My sister did it and got a lot of compliments. I'd personally do red with white tips.
